Our client, a leading local construction/restoration company, is seeking a skilled Technician to lead mitigation and environmental restoration projects from start to finish. What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day progress on restoration or mitigation projects, ensuring work stays on schedule and meets scope requirements.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and project leaders about timelines, materials, staffing needs, and updates.
- Lead a small team of technicians, providing direction, support, and on-the-job coaching.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as moving materials, securing supplies, completing repairs, and documenting site conditions.
- Maintain your assigned vehicle, equipment, and project supplies.
- Complete daily reports, job notes, measurements, moisture readings, and other documentation needed for billing and project closeout.
- Support new or developing technicians through training, guidance, and safety leadership.
- Assist with daily safety briefings and uphold all safety policies and procedures.
- Continue to build technical skills through ongoing training and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience as a lead technician in construction, restoration, or mitigation - or equivalent experience in a senior technician role.
- Valid driver's license in good standing; must be insurable.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and ability to enforce them with your crew.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic technical documentation.
- Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and job-related equipment.
- Growth-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Strong communication and English language skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
- Ability to pass a respiratory physical and fit test.
- Industry certifications are a bonus.
